Book Review: NIGHT OF THE MANNEQUINS by Stephen Graham Jones

NIGHT OF THE MANNEQUINS is a darkly funny novella, one that made me chuckle even as it had me reaching for the light switch. The main character's reasoning for doing what he's doing is so unsettling, so crazy, and yet you can't help but understand him, feel for him, and hell, even root for him. I thought I knew where this story was going, but at every opportunity, SGJ pulled the rug out from under me. If you're looking for something well-written, spooky, with style to spare, and yes, laughs, NIGHT OF THE MANNEQUINS is just the ticket.
