Welcome!
Welcome to my official website! It’s taken a while to get something up and running, but here it is, and I couldn’t be happier about it.
Let’s jump into some writing life updates:
My short story, “Magus,” was officially published—in print!—in Stonecoast Review Issue #13 on Monday, August 10, 2020!
This week I’ve been revising a new short story, “The Luchador,” which I finished drafting last week. I hope to finalize the story this weekend.
I finished reading the novel Coyote Songs by Gabino Iglesias. It’s awesome. Horror noir with prose as sharp as knives.
Speaking of Gabino, this week I’m actually taking a two-part “Otherness in Fiction” workshop he’s running online through Zoom, and it’s been really awesome connecting with him and learning from him. Go check out his books and follow him on Twitter @Gabino_Iglesias.
Uncanny Magazine has opened up to submissions. This is a dream journal of mine, so I’m working to get my story, “Goodly Creatures,” ready for submission.
The following stories are currently “Pending” with various publishers:
“The Hound of Oakenhall”
With Blood and Ash Anthology (Eerie River Publishing)
“Kafka and the Castle”
Novel Noctule
All Worlds Wayfarer
“The Troll”
The Commuter (Electric Lit)

That’s it for this week.
Writers—keep writing, keep reading, and never give up. As my favorite writer, Ray Bradbury said: “You only fail if you stop writing.”
Everybody stay safe and healthy out there, and thanks for dropping by!
